About

Welcome to Archiving COVID-19, a Fall 2020 class project at Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey that seeks to document and analyze aspects of the COVID-19 pandemic, a significant historical event that is changing the world as we know it. Behind the project are a stellar group of graduate and undergraduate students and their professor, Audrey Truschke.

Beginning in mid-September 2020, you can expect to find regular updates on this website as we write about our own experience during the pandemic, document the experiences of others, and craft online archives focused on specific aspects of the pandemic. We craft this archive to speak to people immediately who, like us, are living through the pandemic. We also design this archive to withstand the test of time and serve as a resource for future historians (the website will be housed long-term by Rutgers Libraries).
